What happens to text from Claude

Why Claude text sounds machine-made

Claude writes smoothly and cautiously: sentences follow on from each other well, claims tend to be hedged with words like “may” or “often” and paragraphs end with a summary. One such sentence does no harm, but a whole page reads as monotonous.

The result is grammatically fine and often factually sound too, so the problem is not the content. What reads as machine-made is the regularity and the cautious tone that runs through the whole text.

What the rewrite changes

Humanisation measures the text first: sentence rhythm, phrases typical of AI and repeated collocations. Then it rewrites the text to suit the chosen type, adds small human irregularities and measures the result again. Anything that fails a check is repaired once.

Facts, numbers, names, quotations and the order of ideas are meant to stay, and the length must not change by more than a quarter. The rewrite does not check factual accuracy automatically, though, so read the whole result.

How to rewrite a longer text from Claude

Claude often returns one long continuous text. Rewrite it in parts so each one is easier to check, and pick the text type according to what it is meant to become. An essay is rewritten differently from an e-mail.

If you had Claude write from a sample of yours, the rewrite may change that style again. With an account humanisation follows your sample texts, so the result stays closer to how you write.

What the rewrite does not change

Where the text comes from. Text from Claude is still text from Claude after the rewrite, just written differently. If the rules of your school, publisher or client require you to disclose AI use, the rewrite changes nothing about that.

Nor does it guarantee that the text passes a detector. Each detector measures something different, and detectors change. The machine feel shown above the text is our own measure of style, not a score from someone else's detector.

FAQ on humanising text from Claude

Will quotations and numbers stay in the rewritten text from Claude?

They are meant to. Facts, numbers, names, quotations and the order of ideas should not change. The rewrite does not check them automatically, though, so read the whole result.

Do I have to say that the text is from Claude?

No. Humanisation does not ask about the model. You only pick the text type, and it measures the properties of what you paste.

Can I submit the rewritten text as my own?

That depends on the rules. Where AI use has to be disclosed, the rewrite does not change that, and where AI is banned, the rewrite does not make the text allowed. If you are not sure, ask beforehand.

Does it work for Czech, Slovak or German text too?

Yes. Humanisation detects the language on its own and has its own list of phrases typical of AI and its own rewrite rules for each of the four languages.
